Welcome to the Helena Civic Center, a historic and versatile venue in the heart of Helena, Montana. With an auditorium and a 15,000 square foot ballroom, this city-owned venue hosts a wide range of events—from symphonies and tributes to private galas and community gatherings. We’ve got you covered with clear seating information, easy access, and nearby lodging and dining options.

Originally built as the Algeria Shrine Temple (1920–21) and now operated by the City of Helena, the Helena Civic Center remains a cornerstone of the local arts and events scene. Our goal is simple: help you secure your seats quickly and smoothly, with trustworthy guidance and up-to-date venue details.

Plan ahead by checking parking options on the north side of the property along Benton Ave and Stuart St, with an overflow lot across Stuart. The Getchell Garage is nearby for convenient parking. Accessible parking is available in the southwest corner of the primary lot. Box office hours are 10am–4pm on weekdays, located at the south end of the venue. For transit, Capital Transit offers local routes and ADA curb-to-curb service, with downtown Helena transit options nearby. If you’re visiting from out of town, consider nearby hotels like Days Inn by Wyndham Helena, Fairfield Inn & Suites Helena, and Home2 Suites by Hilton Helena for convenient stays with easy access to the venue.
