About Ithaca State Theatre
Welcome to the Ithaca State Theatre, the last remaining downtown theatre in Ithaca and a cornerstone of the city’s arts scene since 1928. Operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, this historic performing arts venue hosts concerts, theatrical productions, comedy, dance, classic films, and community events. With seating for just over 1,600—about 900 in the downstairs orchestra and 700 in the balcony—the theatre offers an intimate, acoustically rich experience while welcoming a diverse lineup of performers.
