About Lied Center For Performing Arts

The Lied Center For Performing Arts is Lincoln’s hub for diverse arts experiences, featuring multiple venues on a single campus: the Main Stage, Johnny Carson Theater, Lied Commons, and Kimball Recital Hall. Located at 301 N 12th Street in downtown Lincoln, the center hosts national touring acts, classical performances, and community events. Whether you’re planning a night out with friends or seeking an enriching cultural experience, we’ve got you covered with practical details on seating, parking, transit, and nearby hotels and dining.

We’ll help you secure your seats with clear, up-front information on capacity and seating options, plus insider tips on easy parking, public transit access via Lincoln StarTran, and convenient hotel and restaurant choices close to the venue. The Lied Center’s ongoing expansions, including Lied Commons (opened in 2012), keep this campus vibrant and ready for memorable performances—from classic rock legends to contemporary comedians and orchestral concerts. If you’re visiting for a show, consider nearby hotels like The Kindler Hotel, The Cornhusker, A Marriott Hotel, Courtyard Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket, or Graduate Lincoln for convenient stays after the performance.
