Maryland International Raceway (MIR) is a premier 1/4-mile drag strip and motorsports facility located at 27861 Budds Creek Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Hosting top professional and sportsman drag racing, MIR offers a full weekend experience with seating for roughly 11,000 across multiple grandstands and spectator areas. The main grandstands, renovated in 2016, provide comfortable viewing for up to about 5,000 fans, with additional seating and viewing options around the facility. Whether you’re chasing IHRA’s President’s Cup Nationals, the World Cup Finals, the Haltech World Cup Finals, or the NHRA events slated to begin in 2026, MIR is the place to be for fast-paced racing action on the East Coast.
