About Neighborhood Theatre

Welcome to Neighborhood Theatre, a storied NoDa live music venue in Charlotte, NC. Since its renaming from Astor Theatre in 1997, this two-space venue has hosted a wide range of performers—from indie icons to major acts. With a total capacity of 956 across two rooms, it offers an intimate experience at the Main Stage, a broader setup in The Other Side, and occasional reserved seating options like balcony seats and Gold Circle experiences. We’ve got you covered with seating details, parking tips, transit options, and nearby hotels and dining to help you plan your night out.

Parking near Neighborhood Theatre is convenient but limited on busy nights. Use nearby garages and lots along N Davidson Street and 36th/35th Streets. NoDa is well-served by Charlotte public transit, with options to connect via light rail or bus when convenient. While there are no hotels within a short, on-foot stroll, several lodging options close by provide easy access to the venue. For a complete night out, consider reserving seats or table options when available, and check the calendar for upcoming performances featuring artists ranging from indie to iconic acts.
