About Ross Field

Ross Field is a storied part of Auburn’s athletic and community heritage. Originally opened on September 22, 1921 on the Auburn High School campus, it hosted Auburn High School Tigers football (1921–1935) and baseball on a grass surface. In 1998, the site was repurposed as the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC), and Ross Field became part of the new center. Today, visitors know the location as the JDCAC, located at 222 E Drake Ave, Auburn, AL 36830. The venue remains a touchstone for local history and arts programming, with parking and access enhanced by the modern arts center. When you’re planning a visit for a show or community event, we’ve got you covered with practical details to help you secure your seats and get where you need to go.
