Opened in 2002 with a free URI concert, it has since hosted top-tier college basketball, concerts, and a variety of events. With a basketball seating capacity of 8,000 and roughly 6,300+ for most concerts and events, the Ryan Center balances big-event energy with accessible, college-town charm.
