About Severance Music Center

Severance Music Center, located at 11001 Euclid Ave in Cleveland’s University Circle, is the historic home of The Cleveland Orchestra. After a transformative gift from the Mandel Foundation, Severance Hall was renamed Severance Music Center in 2021, continuing its mission as a premier performing arts venue. The complex houses two intimate spaces—the Mandel Concert Hall with ~2,000 seats and the Reinberger Chamber Hall with ~402 seats—where world-class music and special programs come to life.

Whether you’re catching a Cleveland Orchestra performance, a film-score concert, or a pre-concert talk, we’ve got you covered with practical details to secure your seats with ease and plan a convenient visit.

Plan your visit: Severance Music Center sits in University Circle, a cultural hub with museums, restaurants, and hotels nearby. Parking options include prepaid spots in the adjacent Case Western Reserve University Campus Center Garage and additional lots around the area. For transit, CircleLink shuttle and HealthLine/RTA provide convenient access. Look for official venue maps for Mandel Concert Hall and Reinberger Chamber Hall seating to choose the best vantage point for your show.

Nearby hotels offer comfortable stays within walking distance or a short ride: Courtyard Cleveland University Circle, The Glidden House, DoubleTree by Hilton – Tudor Arms Hotel, InterContinental Cleveland, and InterContinental Suites Hotel. We point to trusted partner recommendations when you’re arranging accommodations after you buy your tickets.

Tip: Secure your seats early for popular Cleveland Orchestra performances, and consider attending pre-concert talks to enrich your experience. For up-to-date event details, check the listings for each performance date as plans can shift and special programs may be announced.
