About Soundwell

Welcome to Soundwell, Salt Lake City's intimate downtown venue known for mid-sized live music experiences. Reopened in 2018 after a remodel and rebranding from Elevate Nightclub, Soundwell offers flexible layouts to suit a diverse range of events—from receptions to theater-style performances. With a capacity that adapts to the night’s needs (Reception up to 600, Theater up to 274, Banquet up to 160, Standing up to 650), Soundwell provides a close-up, energetic experience without the crowding of larger arenas.

Parking is convenient but not on-site. Downtown street parking and nearby private lots within 1–2 blocks are common options. If you’re taking transit, Soundwell is accessible via UTA’s TRAX and buses, with some services in the downtown free-fare zone.
