About The Crocodile

Welcome to The Crocodile, Seattle’s enduring live music hub located in the vibrant Belltown neighborhood at 2505 First Ave. This multi-space venue complex houses a main concert space (capacity ~750), the intimate Madame Lou’s (~300), the Here-After theater (~100 seated), plus a cafe and the on-site Hotel Crocodile. Whether you want high-energy headline shows or a more relaxed listening experience, we’ve got you covered with easy, no-fuss ticket access.

Notable moments in The Crocodile’s history include performances by Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Yoko Ono, Green Day, The Strokes, and more. The venue earned recognition from Rolling Stone as one of the top clubs in the United States and plays a key role in Seattle’s rich music legacy, as highlighted in Cameron Crowe’s Singles. The Crocodile first opened as Crocodile Cafe (1991–2007) at 2200 Second Ave, moved to the current First Ave location in 2021, and rebranded to The Crocodile. We’re your connection for secure, straightforward access to great shows at a venue that feels like home.

Seating varies by space: the main showroom is primarily standing-room for most events, Here-After operates with seated configurations, and Madame Lou’s offers limited seating. When you’re choosing tickets, consider the atmosphere you want and the viewing options each space provides. Parking is available via SpotHero with code CROCOHERO10 for 10% off, plus street parking nearby. The venue is easily reachable by public transit and multiple bus routes in Belltown.
