The Mark C. Smith Concert Hall is the flagship performing-arts hall within the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville. Since opening, the hall has hosted legendary acts and touring productions—from Broadway shows to ballet and symphonies. With a seating capacity of 1,955 (continental), including 1,274 in the Orchestra, 603 in the Balcony, and 78 in the Orchestra Pit, the hall offers an intimate yet grand setting for every performance. The venue underwent a major renovation in 2010 and was renamed to honor Mark C. Smith; Propst Arena became the renamed arena, and North Hall is now Saturn Ballroom.
