With an intimate auditorium designed as orchestra and mezzanine, this horseshoe-shaped theater offers an up-close experience for roughly 634–650 guests, depending on configuration. Since reopening in 2003 after a comprehensive renovation, the Friedman has been a home for MTC productions, bringing contemporary and classic works to the stage.
