Can I Really Date A Guy Who Wears A Yarmulke? is a sharp, humorous exploration of Jewish identity and dating dynamics through the lens of a secular Jewish woman navigating a relationship with an observant partner. Created by NYC-based writer and producer Amy Holson-Schwartz, this show premiered at the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) in 2010 with a sold-out run and The Producers' Award. Its NYC footprint also included an exhibit/production at Theatre Row and a performance series at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn (November 2010).
