PRISM - Holiday Movie Magic is the festive, inclusive voice of Detroit’s LGBTQ+ community. Born in 2016 as the PRISM Gay Men and Allies Chorus of Metro Detroit, the group has grown into a prominent chorus that uses music to celebrate diversity, foster social justice, and bring people together through song. As a member of GALA Choruses, PRISM connects with choirs across North America to share meaningful performances and groundbreaking programming.

In 2025, PRISM delivered a sold-out Holiday Movie Magic concert at Sound Board, MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit (a 21+ venue). The show blended beloved holiday film tunes with contemporary arrangements, drawing praise from LGBTQ+ media and metro Detroit audiences alike. 2026 marks PRISM’s 10th anniversary, a milestone that will be celebrated with special programming, new collaborations, and a continuing commitment to inclusive artistry.
