The World Series of Comedy Tickets

The World Series of Comedy (WSOC) is a nationwide stand-up festival founded by Joe Lowers in Pittsburgh in 2003 and now based in Las Vegas. WSOC runs weeklong satellite contests across the country, culminating in The Main Event in September for 101 qualifying comedians. The festival combines competition with seminars, Meet & Greet sessions, and industry networking for performers, club bookers, and managers. The WPIC story is one of growth and opportunity, turning local talent into national stage stars.

WSOC is committed to creating pathways for comedians to secure consistent work and professional representation. The winner of The Main Event earns 50 weeks of paid stand-up gigs at participating clubs and a recording deal with Uproar Entertainment, highlighting the festival’s impact on performers’ careers.

Upcoming 2025 satellites span venues nationwide, including LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas and The Wit Theater in Indianapolis, with additional stops at Skyline Comedy Club (Appleton), Krackpots Comedy Club (Massillon), McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre (Sarasota), One Night Stan’s (Waterford), Funny Farm (Youngstown), Punchline (Atlanta), Comedy Cabana (Myrtle Beach), Laughs Unlimited (Sacramento), Tacoma Comedy Club, and LoonyBin Comedy Club (Little Rock).
